The Dynamic Duo contains Seamoss and Bladderwrack. According to the late Dr.Sebi our body needs minerals not vitamins. Seamoss contains 92 minerals out of 102 our bodies needs to maintain homeostasis. Minerals are specific kinds of nutrients that your body needs in order to function properly. A mineral deficiency occurs when your body doesn’t obtain or absorb the required amount of a mineral. The human body requires different amounts of each mineral to stay healthy
Sea Moss (also known as Irish Moss) is nature's only plant based source of thyroid hormones. The DI-Iodothyronine (DIT), what T3 breaks down into, is found in abundance in brown sea moss and for this reason it has been used as a treatment for thyroid disorders. Thyroxin (T4) and Tri-iodothyronine (T3) have been found as the maiiodine, more concentrated in sea moss than any other food and this is serious fuel for the thyroid. Selenium is also present in abundance and is a necessary factor in thyroid hormone production.
Sea Moss is also jam packed with potassium. The cells of the body cannot function without potassium. Adding high-potassium foods like Sea Moss to the diet can significantly improve behaviour and mental functioning (especially for ADD children!). High potassium foods are also very helpful for fibromyalgia, moodiness, agitation, depression and anxiety disorders.
Bladderwrack on the other hand is great for its ability to promote weight loss, benefit the thyroid, improve the metabolism, reduce inflammation, strengthen bones, boost circulation, protect the skin, aid vision, prevent premature aging, lower risk of cancer, and strengthen heart health.
