To prepare the Elderberry Syrup, follow these instructions:

1. Add the dried elderberries, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves to a pot with 3 cups of water.
2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30-45 minutes.
3. Remove the pot from the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
4. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean container.
5. Sweeten the syrup with agave, date syrup, or maple syrup to taste and stir until fully dissolved.
6. Store the elderberry syrup in a jar or bottle in the refrigerator for up to three months.

Note: The recommended dosage for adults is 1 tablespoon per day, and for children ages 2-12 is 1 teaspoon per day.
