DIRECTIONS:

  • Rinse and soak 1oz of seamoss in cold water for 3 hours.

  • Drain the seamoss and rinse it again.

  • Place the seamoss in a pot with 3 cups of boiling water.

  • Let the seamoss steep in the hot water for 5 minutes.

  • Carefully pour the seamoss and water mixture into a blender.

  • Blend until the mixture is smooth and jelly-like.

  • Transfer the seamoss gel to a clean Mason jar.

  • Seal the jar and refrigerate the gel.

Seamoss gel can be refrigerated for up to two weeks. It can be added to smoothies, oatmeal, soups, or consumed on its own.
